Flick to shoot, drag to defend
Penalty Shootout is for two local players sharing one phone. The shooter starts on the ball and flicks upward to send the shot toward the goal. The keeper drags left or right to guard a corner, and can keep moving while the ball is in flight.
The shot is set when the flick is released, so the drama comes from reading the other player rather than changing the target afterwards. Both players begin centred, with the same clear pitch and a keeper that is easy to track.
Five kicks each, one shared score
After every kick, the roles swap and both players reset for the next penalty. Ten completed shots later, each player has taken five. The player with more goals wins; if the scores are level, the shootout is a draw.
That rhythm keeps the game quick and fair: aim, react, see the result, then hand over the other end. There is no sudden death to interrupt the shared finish.
Polished art for a shared screen
The new football, goal and keeper use the same rounded, outlined vector language as the rest of the collection. Shared identity cards keep each player's name, badge, role and goal total visible, so colour is never the only way to tell who is shooting or guarding.
Penalty Shootout is a focused new addition: a few clear gestures, a visible score, and one more reason to pass the phone across the table.
